The Ultimate Quick & Tangy Cucumber Salad
This crunchy, flavorful cucumber salad is the perfect refreshing side dish for any meal. It’s light, healthy, and takes only minutes to prep!
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers: 3-4 medium cucumbers (Persian or English cucumbers work best for a thin skin), sliced into rounds.
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced.
- Vinegar: 2-3 tablespoons of Rice vinegar or Apple Cider vinegar.
- Sesame Oil: 1 teaspoon for a nutty aroma.
- Red Pepper Flakes: A pinch for a little bit of heat.
- Fresh Herbs: Chopped dill or cilantro.
- Seasoning: Salt and pepper to taste, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Instructions:
- Slice: Cut the cucumbers into even rounds and place them in a large container or bowl.
- Season: Add the minced garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes over the cucumbers.
- Toss: Add your fresh herbs and sesame seeds. Close the container and shake well (or toss with a spoon) until every slice is perfectly coated.
- Chill: For the best flavor, let it sit in the fridge for at least 15-30 minutes before serving. This allows the cucumbers to marinate and get extra crunchy!
