Tropical Fruit Punch

Here is a classic recipe for Tropical Fruit Punch. This version is non-alcoholic, vibrant, and perfect for parties, barbecues, or a sunny afternoon.

Tropical Fruit Punch

This recipe combines a creamy base with citrus and tropical juices for a flavor that tastes like a vacation.

Yield: Serves 8–10
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

· 4 cups Pineapple juice (chilled)
· 2 cups Orange juice (chilled)
· 1 cup Mango nectar or guava nectar (chilled)
· 1/4 cup Fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
· 1/4 cup Cream of coconut (like Coco López) or 1/2 cup coconut milk for a lighter version
· 2 cups Ginger ale or lemon-lime soda (chilled), to top
· Ice

For Garnish (Optional but recommended)

· Orange slices, lime wheels, or pineapple wedges
· Maraschino cherries
· Fresh mint sprigs
· Edible flowers (like orchids or hibiscus)

Instructions

  1. Mix the base: In a large pitcher or a punch bowl, combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, mango (or guava) nectar, and lime juice.
  2. Add the cream: Pour in the cream of coconut. Whisk vigorously until the cream of coconut is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. (This step is important—you don’t want a mouthful of coconut syrup at the bottom of the glass!)
  3. Chill: Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 1 hour.
  4. Add fizz and serve: Just before serving, gently pour in the ginger ale. Add a large block of ice or a handful of ice cubes to the punch bowl.
  5. Garnish: Float the fruit slices and mint sprigs on top.
  6. Enjoy: Ladle into glasses filled with ice.

Tips & Variations

· Make it a Boozy Punch: Add 1 to 1.5 cups of light rum, dark rum, or coconut rum to the juice mixture before chilling.
· Frozen “Floater”: Freeze some of the juice mixture in an ice cube tray with small fruit pieces inside. Use these instead of regular ice cubes so the punch doesn’t get watered down.
· Strawberry Twist: Blend 1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries with a little bit of the pineapple juice and strain it into the mix for a beautiful pink color.
· Spicy Kick: Muddle a few slices of jalapeño in the lime juice before adding it for a sweet-spicy punch.
